    3. Dottie Edward Thomas Jones and his wife Patronella are not buried in any of the Alton cemeteries. However, they are buried in the Bethalto Methodist Cemetery. Back in the 1980's my husband and I inventoried this cemetery and came upon their stone(s). When I went back a few years later looking for Thomas' stone it was missing. At that time I was under the impression that he was the Thomas Jones who married Elizabeth "Betsy" Preuitt, but later learned that there were two Thomas Jones in the Bethalto area at time same time and both were born about the same time. I remember at the time it was very hard to decipher the dates on the stone(s) due to weathering problems - limestone tombstone. Debbi __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
