Hi Pat I forgot to mention in the previous e-mail that my Mary Camp was born on December 25, 1849, in Alton, Madison County, IL. According to family information. I have been trying to look for her parents for a long time, and Laura is the closest I have found to possibly being a match. Of course I could be wrong. My Mary Camp, married John Belger, on July of 1870. and they had two daughters, Laura, and Anna Belger. Laura was born on January 07, 1872, and Anna on December 17, 1874. Both were born in Alton, Madison County too...according to a letter writtne by Anna Belger. I have not been able to find the marraige between John and Mary through IRAD Library in IL.......I, at one time checked out ST. Louis, Missouri too, but found nothing. OH WELL. That's the way it goes. Was Laura married to a Camp or was that her Maiden name? Do you know who her father was. A lot of Camp families came from the south and migrated this way.
