Could someone do a look-up of naturalization papers? According to the 1920 census my great-great-grandparents, Joseph and Josephine Hefner (Hoeffner on the census) were naturalized in 1885. Since they were living in Alton then, I presume their application would have been filed in Madison County courthouse. Since I live in Virginia, I'd appreciate help from a local set of eyes.
