Hi, I would like to know if any one has access to the 1860 census for Madison Co., IL. I would like to know if someone would find out where the father of Ezekiel Davis, Omphghent Twp, was born at. I belive that Ezekiel and at least 4 of his children were born in NJ., but I am having trouble finding out who his father is and where the father was born at. Maybe if I can find birth-state, it will make the search easier. I am like other people, I like to go through correspondence with a genealogy or history correspondence, instead of "paying for information" that should be free to the public.
