Hi again, The (Harel?) in the census is actually Howel (Howell). Howell's last know whereabouts was in Fairplay, Park Co., CO. in 1870, unmarried. Possibly going on to Colusa Co. CA by 1871. Land Purchase in that state in 1871 lists a Howell Davis as buyer. No more census records are found for him in CO. or any other state after 1870. However in the 1882 History of Madison Co., IL. page 538 it just states that at the time of publication Howell was living in the "western country'.. Thanks once again.
