    3. Streeper Funeral Home is no longer in existence. They are now called the Smith Funeral Homes and are owned by Rod Elias. They have one location in Alton,,one in Godfrey and other towns close by. The last time I tried to check on someone through Smith Funeral Homes they told me all records had been destroyed. If we knew the name of your family member, we might be of some assistance. Also, do you know the cemetery in which your family member is buried? That might help as well. 3. Thank you for your response. I guess you might be working with the funeral home..or not? I am searching for all the information I can get on Gottfried Siglock who died in Alton on January 17, 1939 and was buried 2 days later in Upper Alton Cemetery (Oakwood). I am trying to clarify the connections of three family members with that last name in my family. I would appreciate anyone's assistance.
