    1. BOYD / SLOCUM
    2. Kevin Bean
    3. Hello everyone, 1. Could someone please look up for me the marriage date of Daniel P. BOYD to Lizzie KNOWLES. It took place in Madison Co. (or maybe St. Clair Co.) around 1865/75. 2. Secondly if anyone has access to death records, can you please tell me the death date in Madison Co. (I believe) of Mary/Mamie Agnes (Boyd) SLOCUM, their daughter. It would be around 1925/45. Her husband was Elmer E. Slocum. 3. Lastly, if anyone can tell me the death date in Madison Co. of Thomas Duddleston SLOCUM, Elmer's father, I would appreciate it. His wife was Susannoh (Akins), and he disappears after the 1900 census when he would have been 72. Thank you very much, Kevin

    1. DUNN and THOMAS
    2. C. W.
    3. ZILPHA THOMAS married JAMES DUNN 9 Mar 1819 in Madison Co., IL. I suspect James might be the son of James Dunn who died bef 18 Oct 1818 in Madison Co., IL. It's possible James Dunn had these children: James, Michael, Alexander b. abt. 1810, Reynolds b. 1814 in NJ, and Elizabeth b. abt. 1817 in OH. Reynolds Dunn seems to have had some ties to Hancock Co. He died in probably Schuyler Co., in 1850, married to Mary Ann Bates. Might anything look familiar to anyone?

Patty Smith ***http://members.aol.com/Tuffsearch/Genealogylinks.html*** In August 1997, I sent for and received a photocopy of my grandfather's death record from the IL State Archives and the cost was minimal ($.50 per copy). Unless you need an actual certified copy, there is no reason to pay $15. The key word here is death RECORD, not certificate. It is however, a copy of the original. My grandfather also died in Madison Co., but in 1924 so I can't swear to the availability of the 1910 records; also this is a year later so their policy may have changed, but it's worth a shot. The address is as follows: Illinois State Archives Norton Bldg. Springfield, IL 62756 Good luck Eileen in NY
