Someone recently mentioned loosing their list of URL's for IL research on the web. I recently saw (but did not copy) a book titled "Virtual Roots" by Thomas Kemp. It lists web site URL's (of genealogical interest) by geographic area of interest and there were several sites for each state and for many countries. Now I wish I had copied the IL sites for you. Instead I would like to post the URL's from my list of "bookmarks" below for whatever help it may be. A cautionary note would be that I have NOT rechecked ANY of these lately. I would also ask that the person doing the collecting be so kind as to repost to the list their compilation of genealogical URL's for IL that have been suggested. Thanks.
