What is the oldest Catholic Church in Alton?
not sure about the catholic church but know there is a beautiful old stone Episcopal Church - St Pauls;s - was baptised there
made its way to Florida ok also - used to live in Wood River which is just south of Alton so find the dailey messages very interesting Nancy
Lynn, As I understand it, the Alton Brick Company is no longer in existence. Where it once stood is a branch of the Bank of Edwardsville on Martin Luther King Drive. I do have an old street paver brick with the word "Alton" stamped into it, however... Mike Bozovich
Hi, I was always told that it was St. Marys Church on 3rd street. It certainly looked the oldest. Patti

Lynn, I live just outside of Alton and just checked my Alton phone book. I'm sorry to say, there is NO listing for an "Alton Brick Co." in it anywhere. I checked several times and yellow pages and white business pages. Sorry to have to tell you this. Jo
test - since everything I send is returned.
Lynn, I don't know if they are still in business but if you don't get a response let me know and I will check it out. I'm going up there on Sunday and staying a week. My parents live there. I do know that the area code for Alton is 618 and the zip is 62002. Good Luck Patti
Can anyone tell me if the Alton Brick Company is still in business, and if so, would there be a phone number. Please include area code. Thank you, Lynn
