Marilyn's husband - Gabe Galvan of Girard was in the US Air Force. He was stationed in Japan and Korea during the Korean War. Marilyn's son - Lt. Col. Chris Ashby, US Air Force, lives in South Carolina. He will retire in January 2010 with twenty years served. He has been stationed at many foreign bases and flew combat missions over Kosovo, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.
