In the Girard sesquicentennial history of 2005, "A Great History - A Greater Future", pages 86-89 cover the CCC camps in general and the Carlinville camp in particular. It also includes a photo of that camp, and another photo of a group of young men at the camp, with tents in the background. The book is sold out, but there is a copy at the Girard Library and I think also at Staunton Library.
