    2. Hi Gloria, I have been meaning to write you about my Gr.Grandmother's listing not shown in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Mt Olive, Macoupin, IL. The information was included in the Cemetery Book [I believe I submitted it] but it is not included in the on-line Cemetery listing. I had submitted the info for the book as there are no stones on the plot, and I have a photo copy of the Immanuel Lutheran Church burial page, showing the three people who are buried on that plot. The first burial was within days of them arriving in Mt Olive [the ship docked in Baltimore July 21, 1892 and on August 2, 1892, they buried their young son, Friedrich Wilhelm Bernard Schultze, age 5 months, 22 days of age in Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery (First Division, Block Two, Lot Two), Mt. Olive, IL. Not quite a year later, on July 25, 1893, Gr Grandfather, Henry Schultz [Wilhelm Heinrich Schultze], b. abt 13 July 1859 Germany, d. 2 July 1893 in a tragic mine accident: MASHED TO A PULP HENRY SCHULTZE , A LOADER AT NO. 8 SHAFT, KILLED TUESDAY AFTERNOON BY FALLING ROCK. The full text of the front page newspaper article I submitted and is up on the Macoupin County GenWeb pages. I am not sure is Wayne wants this info for his pages on miners that lost their lives in the mines or not ?? He is welcome to include it. The third burial on the plot is that of my Gr Grandmother, Juliana Augusta [Barkowsky] Schultze, Hillmann. Augusta Hillmann, as she was known by, was b. 14 Dec 1868 Germany and d. 6 August 1911 Litchfield, Montgomery, IL [in the hospital, there]. She was buried next to her first husband and her young son on the 8 August 1911. I am not sure where her 2nd husband, John Hillmann / Hillman is buried, and I would NOT list him on the cemetery listing. I need to see if I can find a record of his burial [he d. 17 Mar 1917 at the state hospital in Jackson], and his obit does not give a clue to where he was buried. He is not listed on this plot in the Church Burial Book. I suspect that he is buried there or at a cemetery in Montgomery County were his parents lived, but he is not shown with them, either [Asbury Cemetery]. I hope to someday put up a marker on the plot for my GrGrandparents, and I sure would be open for any ideas of what type to put up. Thanks, Gloria for all your hard work, Sharon Buethner On 20 Dec 2009 at 12:57, G Frazier wrote: http://www.macoupinctygenealogy.org/cemetery/index.html Rick found a buried stone in Immanuel Lutheran, Mt Olive Twp Theodore H Werner 2 July 1887 25 March 1952 Ill Pvt. 1 Development Bn WW1 Rick added 359 gravestone pics for Memorial Park Staunton and 367 gravestone pics for Calvary Cemetery Mt Olive.
