Robert Webb who maintains the web site is very helpful. There is A Listing of Primitive Baptist Church Cemeteries in Illinois - _http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/Cemetery3.html_ (http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/Cemetery3.html) Found this interesting - in Macoupin County - Hopewell Church is the Wheeler Cemetery. I am related to many of the people buried there. Robert Webb has A Listing of Deeds and Records for Primitive Baptist Churches in Illinois (look at Macoupin) - _http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/IllinoisPBCDeeds.html_ (http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/IllinoisPBCDeeds.html) Church and Family History Research Assistance for Primitive Baptist Churches in Illinois - _http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/FamHist.html_ (http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/FamHist.html) I have Pleasant Lemay married to Genetta 'Natty or Nutta or Nully' Huddleston (my 1st cousin 5 times removed) Virginia Marriages, 1740-1850: PLEASANT LEMAY NULLY HUDDLESTON 26 January 1815 Cabell County (now in West Virginia) Source Information: Ancestry.com. I have just finished re-writing my history of Polk township and am now working at re-writing my history of Halyard township. Pleasant Lemay entered 80 acres of ground from the government in section 36, Polk township in 1833. He entered another 80 acres in section 12, Hilyard township in 1835. Both pieces of ground about a mile apart. I assume the Hopewell church was a Baptist church. Was this church located somewhere near Old Plainview, the stagecoach change station in section 1, Hilyard township, on the Springfield Trace, now Stagecoach Road?
