Goshen School 1932 geological survey map shows in sec 12 of Barr twp. http://macoupinctygenealogy.org/images/mpbarr.jpg These specific geological survey maps were mainly for schools altho they do show some churches. Goshen Church may be there......don't know. It does sound like in the obit that the schoolhouse did serve as the church. Just my guessing. On another palce it only shows the school named School No. 1. on the I. N.
