Wayne, Your efforts are appreciated by those of us who still respect and honor veterans. Perhaps we don't say thanks enough though. My husband is responsible for a Veteran's Memorial in our small town. He has donated his work for over 5 years building it, maintaining it and adding more bricks each year. What started out as a local only Vet Memorial has turned into an open invitation to any who want to honor their Vet with a purchase of a brick. These brick purchases paid for the Memorial which was very inexpensive as Memorials go. We are very proud of our Vets Memorial. This year we added our grandson who just returned from Iraq in Feb. We now have over 350 bricks honoring Vets from early on to as recent as Iraq, which is great for a town under 1,000. So thanks, Wayne, and hang in there, your efforts are very much appreciated.
