Thank you for making a contact about Macoupin on ancestry. Hope it does change soon. I have written numerous times for a correction to no avail. I had a cousin die in January of this year in Macoupin and her Social Security Death info has MacOupin, no response to that email either! Log onto ANCESTRY.COM 2. In the upper right of screen is "My Account" - click on that 3. Look for a box on the right side with two choices - My Alerts and My Site Preferences. Click on My Site Preferences 4 Select - Display my email address to other members. 5. Go to bottom of screen and click on Update Preferences. PS - I met a woman that works for the Generations Network (they own Ancestry.com). She said she can help change the look/spelling of MacOupin to Macoupin on the Ancestry.com index. Give it some time - may take a month or two.. Kathie Mirabella In a message dated 6/5/2009 7:18:15 P.M. If someone could lead Jan thru this, I would appreciate it. Even the wifi here at a campground in Maine won't let me do anything so on a wing with the cell phone.
