Ruthann, Five years ago (2004) the board of Asbury Cemetery had the following names listed: Harold Rich, Marcella Huson, Florence Gross, Eugene Ferguson and C. Thomas Sonneborn as well as myself. There were 2 more listed but they are now deceased, as some of the others listed could be also. We met once and I compiled a letter asking for donations for the upkeep of the cemetery. As I live too far away from Asbury Cemetery it is difficult for me to know what is going on. I corresponded with Florence Gross and sent a donation a few years in a row for the mowing. I was not aware that anyone was mowing for free as at one time there was monies in the bank to cover the "once a year" mowing, before Memorial Day, the last I knew. I need to look into the matter as I have been negligent in that respect. As you might know, I have ancestors buried there, several in fact, and am concerned about the upkeep. In fact one of mine married a Rives (Converse). Have we corresponded in the past?
