Have you tried talking to a Kendall & Marie Walden who live on the County Cutoff Road, south of Dixie Stewart Gage, and being the third house on the East side of the Road from Dixie going south. They have a small windmill erected on their lawn. Older couple, but pretty knowledgable. They are listed in the Tel. Book, and Marilyn and I are both friends of theirs. Very nice couple and they love to visit. Since he is a Walden perhaps they have info on your Drury/Walden line. They used to attend Union Chapel Church and may still do so. Kendall supplied me with lots of information for his Walden section of the Drury book. Another Walden who supplied material was the late Merle Walden who died in 2004. I was formerly (in 2000) in touch with a Don Nevins of Edwardsville, who is a direct descendant of Austin Sims Nevins. I sent him a copy of the posting about Austin & Martha, but it bounced. I am hoping he is subscribed to the mail list. Heard from Beverly Holloway that you went to Doc's with petitions on Friday. I sure hope this whole endeavor is successful!
