Here is the transcription. 19 June Alton Teletgraph and Democratic Review Obituary Departed this life in peace, on Tuesday the 4th inst in the 21st year of her age Mrs. Mary Jane Anderson, daughter of D. Jospeh and Jane M. Glass of Jefferson County, KY In early life Mrs. Anderson embraced religion and joined the Presbyterian Church, of which she remained an orderly member to the day of her death. After the decease of her mother ( which was in 1835) she spent some years with her sister, Mrs. Marders, of Middletown, Ky. Then in the fall of 1837 she came to this State to reside with her brother Robert Glass Esq. where on the 4th of April 1840 she was united in marriage with Mr. Crittenden H. G Anderson with whom she lived in perfect harmony and much conjugal affection one year and 20 days. Mrs. Anderson possessed a find mind, a well cultivated intellect, an even temper, was easy and affable in her manners, exceedingly kind and amiable in her disposition, and though dead, she lives in the memory and affections of all her relatives and acquaintances.
