I just received this query. Can anyone be of assistance? "Dear Mr. Ott: I am trying to find information on a Mr. Christian H. Haake who was married to a Freda (or Frida, or Frieda) Augusta Reifschlager. The two resided in Macoupin County for a long time. I only know this by way of an old obituary that I found from one of their children. I am looking for their final resting place so that I can go and pay my respects. If you have any information about either one I would appreciate it. I believe that Frida remarried a Mr. Kincaid. I am not sure if Christian died or not, in the 1880 census Freda is listed as widowed, though this might have been for sensabilities. Thank you for your assistance.
