    3. One other possibility comes to mind. "Sanona" seems a very unusual name. Do you have other instances of it for her? Perhaps someone mis-transcribed "Lanora", which may have been a census-taker's attempt at "Elenora" or "Leonora" or something along those lines. Marsha L.     3. FYI, I just came across the name Sanora/Sonora in Macon County. So I think it is a valid name, though I had never heard it before.     3. Possibly right. Doing the 1845 index, I was having a time deciding an L and S. The swishes were very close. I probably have more wrong. Marita and Jill found two.
