Sharon, Re Owens Marriage, I emailed the S.S.Simon RC Church in Gillespie, and the Church came up trumps! I have received tonight from this kind person in their organization a Michele Levandoski, the Marriage Cert for Owen and Delia, performed on the 23/02/1914 in Gillespie, Delias maiden name was also GALLAGHER, something I would never have even imagined, the Birth Cert I had for their son James in 1915 actually listed both Delia's married and maiden name funnily, her first name was not actually Delia, she was baptized Bridget, wonder where Delia came from this Doc also gives her parents names, both father and mother with her maiden name, enabling me to continue my search in Ireland, although that may take some doing as Records are sparse, but its a start. Michele also added an Obituary for Delia from the Litchfield News-Herald, dated 15/05/1930, seems like she merited a column in the Newspaper. I now am very happy to have found out a great deal more of their background, I would still have liked to get in contact with any descendants of theirs, but that is asking too much.
