Does anyone have at their disposal a copy of the 1855 IL State Census for Macoupin Co.? I need to gather the information about the Rees(e) family, in particular Simon Rees(e) and his father Jacob Rees(e) along with their wives and children from that particular census. They would have been in Barr Twp., I believe, or Barr's Store. I was reluctant to ask for help on this because in early July I had sent in a request form to the IL State Archives for a copy of this particular page of the census along with a check for a copy voucher. To date, I haven't heard "boo". I think a 4 mos. wait along with ignoring a nicely written reminder letter is a bit much though. I'd like to continue on with my research "train-of-thought" on my Rees(e) family, so if anyone has access to this page of the census, I would be very grateful for the information. It will definitely help me establish whether they were still alive in 1855 as they seem to have disappeared by the time the 1860 U.S. Census was taken. Thank you so much :-) Jill Adami
