Bill, I use "The Master Genealogist" (Gold Edition for the multiple indexes, etc.) by Wholly Genes, Inc. which is a great program but probably is not for everyone. It is labor intensive but is extremely flexible to be used to the way you want to set up your files...not the way in which the program wants you to set up your files. You can see and read about it at www.whollygenes.com and see sample outputs. There is also a TMG-L list that is quite heavily used by TMG uses.
