    3. Gloria is correct, the LDS has copies of the both the 1855 & 1865 State Census for Macoupin County. The Film numbers are: FHL Film # 0976670 1855 State Census for Macoupin Co., IL FHL Film #1012404 1865 State Census for Macoupin Co., IL My notes to myself concerning the 1855 film "Some of these marks may be incorrect because the film was extremely faint and difficult to read." I didn't make any notation about the 1865 film so it must have been much clearer and easier to read.
