Hi, I would like to resubmit my query on the Duncans. Hope someone out there can help me. I am looking for the parents and/or siblings of WILLIAM DUNCAN b. ca. 1822 in NC, died <1885 in Illinois. Have the feeling that he and the Farrars lived in IN for a while before moving to IL. He married 23 Aug 1847, Macoupin Co. IL SARAH ELIZABETH FARRAR b. ca 1828 IN, d. 3 Mar 1896 IL. They lived in Clyde IL - now Hornsby. They were the parents of WESLEY, WILLIAM, LOUISE, JAMES NEWTON AND LORETTA DUNCAN I can't find where and when William died, even though family says he died in Litchfield IL there is no record that he is buried there. Sarah E. died in E. St. Louis and they took her back to Litchfield to be buried, which would have been very expensive and difficult in 1896. Would appreciate it if anyone could at least point me in the right direction in finding William's parents, siblings, and/or date and place of death. Thanks for any help you can give me.
