I am going to "try" a mIRC chat channel for Macoupin Tues nite at 7:30. Wednes and Thurs are out for me and I figure Mon and Fri are inconvenient for most with work on Mon and end of week Fri. If you don't have mIRC, it can be downloaded from: http://www.mirc.co.uk/ Dummie instructions are also at the site. I am new at chat so maybe someone who gets on and knows all the techie stuff can help others of us out. Setup info Folder: *IRC Servers - type in rootsweb Fill in your name, email address (and choose a nickname if you want). *Options - default port 6667 (this may come up on its own when you connect to rootsweb, but if not, enter those numbers in the default port window) Click Add and Ok mIRC Channels Folder ilmacoup (click Add and Ok) When you connect Tues nite, be sure you are at rootsweb server and ilmacoup chat channel.
