Hello, This is a general query to anyone who may have information about Blacktown. This was a temporary group of buildings and tents constructed under the trestle north of Staunton during its building in the summer of 1913. I would be interested in anything, either text or photos available on the building of the trestle. I have some letters to my grandmother, called the Blacktown News, written by Nettie Fleming. Some of the Surnames listed in these letters are as follows, SCHMUTZLER, DINGERSON, RAMSEIER, ROZIER, GINDELL, STIEGEMEIER, STIFF, SMITH, RUTHER, HERMANNS, BEYREUTHER, FISCHER, MCCULLEN, STILLIE, STRUCK, BUB, BAKER, KAESAMAN, MILLER, SCHUESTER, WEISENBORN, and FLEMMING. I believe this is all of them, doing a quick look through. I am certainly willing to share info, but would like to hear from anyone having info on the building of the trestle or of Blacktown. Thanks, Glenn Sheets
