A recent visitor to northern Macoupin County found a cemetery and jotted down a few names. He thinks/thought it was Bethel Cem. but according to Tombstone Revelations, there is no Bethel in the area. Then we thot Metcalf but the following names were not transcribed for Metcalf. The road sign read: Clark Rd. 23000 N. 3000 Blk, and Bethel Rd, 3000 E. 2300 Blk. Emett R. Sanson 1924 Mayberry Samuel Bates , Civil War Paul Woodrow Shirley, 1817-1820 Stottler 1996 Anyone know the cemetery where these names would be found?? Thanks. Gloria Oh, BTW, the roads in Macoupin County have been named in the past year.
