There is a cemetery near Atwater located in the northeast part of Macoupin County by the name of Bethel Ridge - has been there since the late 1800's at least. There are quite a few of my ancestors buried there. I thought it was listed in the Tombstones Revelations as my Dad has a copy but I may be wrong. Regardless it is located about 2 miles southwest of the village of Atwater or 3-5 miles north of SR108 off the road formerly known as the Atwater Road. Will try to get the new road names checked in the next few days.
