Hi Dick, I just put out the "holler" our for Scott's new email address the other day since I recently went thru the queries and, hopefully, cleaned up some invalid addresses. The invalid one was: "Scott Meyer" <S-meyer@sun.sws.uiuc.edu> Ah, ha, if you or someone can figure out this university, you might contact the univ and see if they had a new address for him and would ask him to contact you if he does have an email address. He may have graduated or if teaching, another job. Better chance if you ask to have him contact you less they think you have an undesirable purpose. Sometimes at the university address/url (if you can find this one) they will have a list for students or alumni or teachers. You have to work thru some pages sometimes to find them. Just pick an address and try. Can't hurt to try. If anyone on the list might have worked with him on genealogy, holler. If you find him and he is still interested in the name Burgdorff have him contact me with new address. And, as Jim Windsor said sometime ago, some people just lose interest in genealogy and it would be nice in that case if they would remove their query and address. Thanks. Good luck. The space which gives the e-mail address states: Invalid I've looked hi and low for phone or Email reference but found none. I found eight references on the Illinois Genweb surname search (for Burgdorff surname) but could find none that had a valid means for contacting Scott Meyer.
