On November 13 a small group of us HUNT researchers gathered in Macoupin County to meet each other and share information. We were there from Friday evening thru Sunday evening and had the most wonderful time. We came home with so much information, copies of pictures, and a great amount of love from our "email distant cousins". Macoupin County is lovely, friendly, and filled with information. They take care of their cemeteries, their records, and researchers. LOVE TO EVERYONE IN MACOUPIN COUNTY. I would like to recommend to all of you who are emailing "distant cousins", plan a get together. It is the most fulfilling experience. And just think, you don't have to hold them down to talk "Genealogy". They do it willingly. Our meeting was announced on the Macoupin County Web Sight and I want to thank Gloria Frazier for that. This is a wonderful Web Sight and I am here nearly every day. ANYONE OUT THERE SEARCHING HUNT, LAMBERT, LOYD and attached names give me a holler.
