Hi, A friend at work scanned a few pictures for me. One picture is 4 1/2 by 3 1/3 inches and contains 23 people - some being children. When you turn it over it is a post card. There is no address and does not appear to have been mailed. I found this among my grandmother�s, Rita Emma Wheeler McDermott (born 25 May 1902) pictures. Her parents were William �Collie� Wheeler and Lora Stokes (born 9 Nov 1875). They lived in Gillespie, Macoupin County, IL. This picture must be from Macoupin County, IL. Does anyone recognize the names? I do not recognize these names. If this is your family - I will e- mail you the picture. The scanned picture is in JPG format that I can use at work - but - not at home. Cyrina L. is third from left she died when 19 yrs old from taking carbolic acid I was 8 then I think. ( The �C� in Cys and Cyrina could be a different letter.)
