Hi, Is anyone related to a May McReynolds who lived as a young girl in Gillespie? I have 3 old school books that belonged to her. In a book "Orthography and Word Analysis" by Elmer W. Cavins, copyrighted 1914 - she writes in front, on sticker, May McReynolds - Grade - eight. Sticker says: Headquarters For School Supplies Behrens Drug Store Gillespie Illinois She paid 46 cents for the book. She tells about her name being spelled May and Mae. She also tells about her Dad's first cousin May McReynolds who died at age 26. I have another book- "Johnny Miller or Truth and Perseverance" by Flex Weiss. In front someone wrote Bayard Barlow xmas 1884. I can find no date of printing. Happy Hunting, Kathie
