A story in today's local news is about Theft of Wills from courthouse probate files. Since most of us at one time or another visit courthouses to find such files for our family research, I thought that some might be interested in the story. I think this news story should remind us that not only are books and important manuscripts, etc. "stolen" from genealogy libraries but also historical records are also "removed" from public records storehouses such as courthouse files.
