Hi, My husband's Macoupin (and Montgomery) co. ancestors were William and Sarah Elizabeth (Farrar) Duncan, married in Macoupin Co. Aug 23, 1847. William was from NC. Believe Sarah E. to be the daughter of Green Wesley and Laura (Sinclair) Farrar, also from Macoupin Co. William and Sarah were the parents of David Wesley, Loretta, Louise, William, and James Newton Duncan. The family eventually ended up in Litchfield. Have received information on the net that William is the son of Absalon C. and Elizabeth Duncan who also lived in Macoupin Co. Can anyone help me solve this puzzle? Marilyn Duncan - Belleville IL
