I have some Yeargan/Yeargen criminals from Macoupin County (Carlinville). We found information on a court docket where the whole family was indicted for assault. Their son Clayton was killed. That's all I have been able to piece together of this story. Sister, Martha either died or disappeared after Clayton was murdered by a James Crawford. If anyone knows anything about this story, I would love to hear it. Mary
