To everyone who uses this list . . . I have a job offer for you. It's tedious, its boring, it makes your fingers hurt . . . but it will make you feel good and we will end up with a really great reference resource. If you have used the 1830, 1840, or 1850 census on the Macoupin County GenWeb page, you have utilized the hard work of all of those bored, tired people with sore fingers who transcribed the information. How about pitching in and making the 1860 census happen? There are 440 pages, and someone can easily complete a page in one evening - about an hour or so, even if you are a slow typist. To find out how to help, check with Gloria Frazier glofra@townsqr.com I have selfish reasons. I want to get at this data as soon as I can. So should you. How about it? -- My family tree and home page: http://www.kc.net/~jack_cox
