Earlier in the week someone was inquiring about WILHITES -- NoticeD when looking at my copy of the 1875 platt map of Cahokia that T. W. WILHITE owned 80 acres in the se 1/4 of section 3 (range 6) and an additional 55 acres caddy-corner to it on the nw 1/4 of section 11. These are just se of Clyde, both have dwellings, and the section 11 property includes a cemetery alongside the stream. The section 11 property is adjacent to the Peter KARNES property but I assume that the cemetery is the KINDER cemetery where there are WILHITEs buried.
