    1. [ILMACOUP-L] Cemetery Books

    3. Hi! Does anyone out there have Macoupin County cemetery books? I would surely appreciate if those with cemetery record books would do a look-up for me. I have just about exhausted all the sensible resources--and some nonsensical ones too!!! I don't know which cemetery they would be buried in and I don't know when the people died. It seems as if there are hundreds of cemeteries in the county!! The burials I am looking for are: Eliza (SMITH) JONES (wife of Jonathan, she died after 1870 Macoupin Co. census) Jonathan JONES (died after 1870 Macoupin Census) Jesse B. EDWARDS (died in Macoupin Co in 1869) Angeline (SMITH) EDWARDS (wife of above Jesse) (She died after 1870 Macoupin Co census) They all lived in Carlinville Twp. at time of 1870 census---except Jesse who was deceased. I have looked at every record on line that I can think of. I have looked at everything my local LDS has on Macoupin County. I've checked the GenWeb search functions and the Ancestry. There has to be one that would tell all that I have missed----but what???? Eliza JONES had a son Thomas HOGAN by her first marriage. He also lived near them on 1870 census. Probably just a coincidence re the same surname but does anyone have access to the HOGAN Cemetery records and could look for these people in it? (It's in North Palmyra Twp.) Thank you everyone!
