She was the wife of Jonathan JONES, a carpenter, on the 1870 Macoupin Co., Carlinville, US census, pg 49.. She was born in VA around 1813 to 1819. Grew up in Scioto County, OH. Married first to Amaziah HOGAN in Sioto Co., OH. Widowed and married Jonathan JONES before 1857 in Scioto Co, OH.. Had children Thomas HOGAN born abt 1821 in OH. , and Henrietta JONES born abt 1857 in OH. Son Amaziath. Others? Need info from a death record or obit as to identity of her mother. Need Eliza's mother's maiden name. Eliza (SMITH/Hogan) JONES was the daughter of Townley SMITH of VA and Scioto co., OH. But who was her mother???? Any and all info will be appreciated. Joanne in CA
