Wayne, Had a look at your interesting site of Military Graves in Holy Cross Cemetery, I was astonished to find a Tombstone that is a relative of mine: James. P. Gallagher, B1915-Died 1977, Gillespie, Macoupin County: Staff Sergeant in the U.S Army in WW2, he is the son of my Grandmother's Brother Owen (Ownie) Gallagher B1883 here in Glasgow Scotland, I've been trying to find descendants of this family in Gillespie for some time, would there be any chance of this Info being in the Cemetery Records itself? Or other Info not recorded on your photo? Wife? Sons? I'd dearly like to contact these lost family members as I have other Records of Owen's to share.
