(Possum Trot), wife of John Record Arnold, dau. of Moses Ruyle and Elizabeth Kaiser. She was born in 1815, and died in 1896. A family story says that her husband John was deaf and mute, and after dusk, when Polly needed to call him in from the fields for supper, she would climb a tree in their front yard with a lantern and wave it from the tree.
