Gloria On another mail list I'm on, the list administrator gave information saying that the cost for a Civil War Pension record file would go from $40 to $125 per request. Also, it was noted that if anyone wanted to send messages to the NARA indicating their opposition to the proposed changes that it should be done individually. Individuals that work together and put their name on the same message will be counted as just one opposition because there was only one message. This holds true for other issues as they are brought out to the attention of the public.
