I will jump in on this also. I have Susan Arnold Sharp Dial as daughter of Hopson Arnold born 1789 and Avery "Avie" Nix Arnold born 1781. Hopson is the son of a WM Arnold but I don't have a wife for this Wm Arnold who I have as a son of John Arnold and Sarah Brown from Prince Edward Co, VA. The Wm Arnold that Susan Arnold Sharp and her husband were living with in 1850 census might have been her brother, William who married Lucy Cannady. List of siblings I have for Susan Arnold Sharp Dial : Sally (possibly Sarah) Arnold born 1805, married John Barnett William Arnold born about 1808, married Lucy Cannady Agnes Arnold born 1811, married Cornelius Elliott Frances Arnold born 1818, married Robert S Hill John Record Arnold born 1820, married Mary "Polly" Ruyle Please send me any corrections or additions.
