Have hit a brick wall for over two years now on my 2nd great grandmother Susannah "Susan" Arnold Sharp Dial. According to what I know to date is she was either born in TN or IL source: census abt 1822. Her parents may be Hopson Arnold and Avery Nix. She first married John Wiley Sharp b. abt 1822 in TN they married on 24 Feb 1841 in Macoupin County. They had 8 children to my knowledge. John died abt Jul 1858. just looking at the email quickly... I am related to the Sharp/Lynch's that came from Claiborne TN to Macoupin IL. John I believe to be in my line... Arnold sounds familiar in TN. I will look in my Lynch db and see what I can find for you.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Hi, I just do not like to put stuff online as most of it gets used incorrectly. I have worked on the Arnold family for many years. I was just working on the very family you requested! My name is Marilyn Galvan and I live in Girard, IL. If you want to call me I can talk to you easier than emailing all that I have done to date. Your Susannah Arnold was the daughter of William Arnold and Eleanor Hill. At least she is the one I am pretty sure is the mother. I cannot find a document to prove this as yet, but I do have tons of other information on the family. Susannah had a sister born about two years later and then the mother died and the dad remarried Lucy Cannaday on June 18, 1833. Please contact me and I can relate some of the rest of the story. Also William was the brother of John Record Arnold according to what I have found.
