Franklin in Staunton. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. This month's speaker is William D. Wilson of Hill's Fort Society. Mr. Wilson, along with other collaborators, has put together a new book on early Illinois history titled, "Forts and Blockhouses of Early Illinois". The new softbound book covers many sources written a number of years ago, as well as modern-day Internet sites and personal collections. Our new membership year started June 1st. Dues are $15.00 for the current year and include the quarterly newsletter: Macoupin County Searcher.
