I'm trying to find a John Leonard b. abt 1822. I think he was born in KY because his sister Mary Elizabeth was born there in 1834. With the age difference he could have been born somewhere else. I know Mary was in Macoupin Co. in the early 1850's. John was in Alton, IL in 1900 living with relatives at the age of 78. He might have died between 1901or 1902 in Alton but I could be wrong.
