Thank you for your note, Donna. My direct families are William McPeak family (to IL from TN ca 1830) which is pretty well researched and Nancy Wood, wife of his son John McPeak. Have never verified parents of Nancy Wood. Research shows very close relationship with family of James E. Wood and his brothers and sisters. Other names of interest are Jesse M. L. Fry and Ephraim Simmons, both married to Louisa Jane McPeak, daughter of John and Nancy; Jarmans, Sawyers and Sextons from NC also are my line.
