Responding to the roll call, these two families are the primary focus of my Macoupin County interest: Seaton Alexander Blevins (orig from KY, 1814-1897) & wife #1 Rebecca Moore (1817-1848, her parents and grandparents also migrated from KY to Macoupin: Henry & Sally Shipp Moore and Thomas Guthrie Moore & Edith Trent respectively) had four children, all b in Macoupin: Lemuel H. Blevins 1840 John Curtis Blevins 1843 Mary I. Blevins 1843 Thomas A. Blevins 1848 Seaton Blevins and wife #2, Euphema Burrows Gray (1817-1902, a widow) had 4 children, all b Macoupin: Lucina Blevins Columbus C. Blevins 1851 Lucinda Blevins Rebecca A. Blevins Seaton and Rebecca were my gggrandparents; their son John Curtis Blevins was my ggrandfather. These families lived in Carlinville and Shaw's Point. Thanks, Ellen Knowles Bisson
